everloopEverloop.com is changing up its executive team. The social media platform for kids under 13 has appointed Jim DeRose as Director, Acting President and COO.

Among his first efforts in his new positions, DeRose has in turn appointed Brian Klais , CEO of Pure Oxygen, as Executive SEO and Mobile Advisor; and Richard Chino , an Angel Investor and Board Member of C2FO.com, as Executive SEM Advisor.

In their respective positions, both Klais and Chino will support Everloop.com’s efforts to increase visibility on the web.

DeRose’s track record in senior executive positions includes working as President and CEO of Global VR, President of video game maker Acclaim Entertainment, President and CEO of PDI/Dreamworks, President of Mattel USA and President of Hanes Division of Sara Lee Corporation.

Klais is Founder and CEO of Pure Oxygen, a mobile consultancy and technology lab. As a digital entrepreneur, he brings expertise in search, mobile and online marketing expertise to the Everloop team. His stint as a co-founder of Covario, coupled with his hands-on experience optimizing desktop and mobile platforms will help Everloop continue to engage with kids in an effective and responsible way.

Chino is an Angel Investor focused on seed round investments with Internet based startups.  He is a member of the Pasadena Angels, a founding board member of the Claremont McKenna College’s Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and a Board Member of C2FO.com.  Prior to Angel investing, Chino served as CRO at Smarter.com, and spent 7 years with Overture/Yahoo Search Marketing.
